If this description aligns with your skills and qualities, we eagerly anticipate your application.About The Role: OT Specialist Responsibilities:Apply automation and electrical engineering expertise to enhance safe and reliable operations.Assist the OT Manager in identifying automation development opportunities and sharing best practices.Take charge of automation and control system design, specification, programming, simulation, and testing. Simulating and testing these processes or equipment to ensure they function as desired and procuring relevant sensors and actuators for process control systemsDevelop automation standards and guidelines aligned with Nutreco global standards.Create replicable automation templates and solutions for use in diverse locations and projects.Offer troubleshooting support and perform root cause analyses for production issues, proposing preventative measures.Support new project design, installation, and commissioning, including travel (for testing in vendor facilities), while evaluating and validating design alternatives to optimize outcomes. Ensure project requirements align with business objectives and budgets, meeting the needsMaintaining the entire process control system and developing automation projects for new facilities, as well as implementing improvements in existing ones.Skills and ExpertiseQualifications:Industrial or Industrial Automatic and Electronic Engineering degree, or at least any bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Computer Engineering.Minimum 5 years' experience in implementing automation projects following ISA-88 and ISA-95 standards.Proficiency in automatic process control for both continuous and batch processes.Ability to work as a team and collaborate with other departments. Good communication skills, teamwork and passion for technology.Languages: Spanish and high level spoken and written English (minimum B2)
