The objective of the Enterprise Strategy Team is to partner with our businesses to develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities to create value across the Group. As part of the Enterprise Strategy Team, the individual will be engaged in cross-functional, enterprise-wide Strategic Projects and Transformational Programs taking on management responsibilities.
Specifically, the role will include all phases of Project Management from Planning – scoping, resourcing, target definition, task description and assignment – Execution – task completing, troubleshooting, decision making, milestones achieving – and Delivery – communication, training, engagement with stakeholders for implementation.
The individual will also be engaged in wider Transformational Program Management taking on the responsibility for overseeing multiple workstreams to ensure efficiency and optimal outputs considering interdependences and synergies.
Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
Understand the evolving external context and derive implications for CRH strategy and execution.Understand CRH strategy execution progress and results and derive implications for CRH strategic direction and projects (deep-dives, market analysis, etc.)Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives.Develop and execute strategic initiatives.Work cross-functionally with various departments to ensure alignment and efficient execution of strategic projects.Monitor and report on project progress, identify risks and issues, and provide recommendations to mitigate them.Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Manage strategic projects assessing various elements of our portfolio and/or segments of the construction value chain.Represent the company in external meetings, conferences, and industry events, and build relationships with external stakeholders to identify potential partnership opportunities.Share best-practice and coordinate strategy "building" activities (e.g., run workshops) for regional clusters and lines of business.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the project management team and across the organization.
