The Hardware Auxiliary Infrastructure team is part of the Business Unit Technology and consists of a group of dedicated employees. The team is responsible for the infrastructure platform used for our SCADA platform. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Infrastructure Specialist for introducing new OT-technical solutions.How to contribute to our visionAs a Lead Infrastructure Developer, you are responsible for the Hardware Infrastructure platform, which is used for the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SCADA system. You will be a part of a team that operates in a busy and rapidly changing environment. It is therefore a requirement that you can handle and cope with many parallel ongoing tasks.Some of the tasks and responsibilities you can expect to be involved in include:Introduce and maintain Servers, UPS, Storage units, Time units, and Electrical components in on-premises data center.Optimization of security solutions on our platforms to adhere to ever-increasing demands from a business with a high focus on security.Component owner tasks – test, verification, documentation, and release of Hardware, firmware, and lifecycle management.Automation of installation through Shell scripts, Ansible, and other tools.Create documentation, training material, procedures, and processes.Participate in 2/3 Level support for IT technicians located in Onshore, Offshore, and Service.What you need to make a differenceThe ideal candidate has a background as a data technician or a degree in computer science or engineering and at least 6+ years of experience. We expect you to have in-depth knowledge of server hardware, scripting (Shell Scripts/Bash), as well as knowledge of automating infrastructure with products like Ansible. Knowledge of UPS solutions would be an advantage. OT/IT security must be a high priority for you, and you should have knowledge of different security regulations along with knowledge about SAFe and PI planning would be a plus.Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results
