All action.We're looking for a Frontend Engineering Manager who will lead our team of talented engineers, ensuring our storefront remains stable, fast, and adaptable as we grow.About the RoleAs a Frontend Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for the health, stability, and performance of Vitals' storefront code that runs on over 30,000 Shopify stores worldwide. You will lead a team of smart and motivated engineers, while also tackling the challenge of gradually reducing legacy and enhancing our frontend tech stack.This is a critical role where you will drive the frontend strategy, development, and operational excellence for our products, enabling our customers to provide the best shopping experience to their users.What You'll DoOwn the storefront's stability and uptime: Vitals runs on thousands of stores, and any issue can potentially affect our merchants' ability to sell. You'll establish a solid testing strategy to ensure releases are smooth and incidents are minimized.Lead a team of 15+ engineers: Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and high performance while developing your team members professionally.Reduce tech debt and modernize our stack: Identify and prioritize areas for improvement in our legacy codebase.
