Want to be part of the team? We're looking for a Software Engineer III to join our LOC Engineering, Games-Tech Team.
This team is responsible for the development and maintenance of tools or game technology to allow the localization and internationalization of games to 20 languages or more, working closely with some of the best Game Studios in the industry, like EA Sports, DICE, Respawn, Bioware, Codemasters, Criterion, and many others.
What are you going to do as a SE here at EA?
Your primary focus will be code quality, performance, extensibility, and testability. You will be leading and mentoring other engineers while working with product owners and stakeholders to design and develop tools or in-game code packages, translating requirements and prototypes into technical solutions using C++, C#, or others. You might also help maintain or refactor legacy code, design the architecture of new software packages, or improve our technology base and documentation. You will be a part of the Localization Engineering, Games-Tech Team and report to its Technical Director.
The next great Software Engineer also needs: University Degree (BSc) in Software Engineering or equivalent academic background8+ years of professional experience designing and developing AAA games or equivalent, complex software solutions.Highly skilled in C++ AND C# development, with a special focus on performance and code qualityPassion for developing, mentoring, and leading others.
