This position, Business Development Director, at IE Lifelong Learning has as main responsibilities to open, develop and nurture the relationships with corporate and enterprises in all sectors and regions of Spain.
The main tasks include the development of commercial plans to promote IE Lifelong Learning's Executive Education Programs, Bootcamps and Online Programs in their open enrollment segments and to design and implement strategies to achieve client loyalty and revenue growth.
This position will be part of a team that is already in place and will work in coordination with IE's Corporate Relations Unit and Regional Directors within Spain.

Responsibilities
Your role as a Director will involve:
Participation in the design and execution of strategies to approach specific new corporates and medium size enterprises, in different sectors and regions of Spain. This may include public organizations, associations, NGOs and foundations,
Participation in the design and execution of strategies and plans to nurture and achieve loyalty of assigned corporates and medium size enterprises, which are already IE clients in different sectors and regions of Spain. This may include public organizations and foundations,
Commercial activities: sales, management and participation on commercial events, implement activities post-event, represent IE lifelong Learning in meetings with different stakeholders, creation and management of academic proposals for clients, development of long-term relationships with specific accounts,
Participation on diverse projects of diagnostic projects, consultative sales, benchmarking, and strategic planning in diverse sectors in Spain.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Master´s Degree
An undergraduate degree in ADE, Engineering, or a similar in a Spanish university, demonstrating a high capacity for analysis is highly valued
Native in Spanish language. Fluency (written & oral) in English
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Spain in any of these areas: Business development B2B preferable in the service or education sectors, sales B2B preferable in the service or education sectors corporate client loyalty and relationship management, development of corporate clientele, creating and delivering proposals. It is desirable to have already developed a network of contacts within the learning & development community in Spain
CRM experience, extensive knowledge, and experience with Microsoft Office and other tools such as HubSpot, as well as LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Advanced capacity for analytic thinking and organization, attention to detail and service orientation. Experience managing projects.
Developed interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills, active listening, empathy, persuasion and team-member skills, with the ability to work in diverse environments and with different clients
The position is based in Madrid, with the possibility to travel to other different Spanish cities. Holding a Spanish driving license is required
