Education and QualificationsRequired:Degree in BiomedicineMaster's in Molecular Biology and/or Biomedicine, already completedFluency in Spanish, Catalan, EnglishDesired:English certification (B2)Experience and KnowledgeRequired:Previous and demonstrable experience in geneticsExperience in cellular (cell culture, isolation of PBMCs by gradient separation, transfection, etc.)
and molecular biology (PCR, qPCR, sequencing, ELISA)Knowledge of respiratory diseases, in particular COPD and alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiencyDesired:Publications or congress presentations will also be consideredStrong communication skills will be greatly valuedMain Responsibilities and DutiesGive support in processing samples from alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency patientsLaboratory support for the research group in COPD and alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiencyPerform different molecular biology studiesCollection of data and collaboration in data analysis and interpretationAnalyse the results and elaborate summary and scientific abstracts and/or publicationsLabour ConditionsFull-time position: 40h/weekStarting date: December 2024Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills.
