We are now looking for Senior Finance Analysts for our central controlling team in Madrid. You will support the company's financial processes, including budgeting, planning, and reporting. Your area of responsibility will be focused on the company's portfolio expansion, so passion for strategy and business development is required.For this role, you should hold a degree in Business Administration or Accounting followed by relevant work experience, ideally in Big 4 companies. Knowledge and development of forecasting models, validation of business valuation calculations, and proactive handling of business cases are key requirements for this position. Work experience in the Hospitality or travel industry will be considered a plus.Ultimately, you will need to collaborate with and support the business function by ensuring they have all the necessary information for qualified decision-making. The Senior Finance Analysts will also contribute to the financial 5-year-plan execution and monitoring and should be able to collaborate with the projects coming from different business areas.Role and ResponsibilitiesProvide thorough analysis of risks and opportunities of different expansion projects, envisioning their contribution to the overall 5YP goals.Lead and deliver post mortem analysis of past expansion projects to the relevant stakeholders.Extensive interactions with business counterparts to align on needs, define initiatives, financial targets, and KPIs.Act as a true business partner towards the business function, ensuring delivery of long-term goals.Perform ad hoc analysis on current and past financial data, comparison between budget, forecasts, and actuals for different key metrics.Drive business change readiness activities and liaise with business users for acceptance of deliverables.Coordinate with the Group Controlling team and business units on long-term financial planning.Provide ad hoc analysis of company performance, financial performance, costs, and profitability in support of the strategic plan.Monitor and assist the responsible department in assessment of business performance and definition of approved business plans.Establish key metrics, reports, and tracking tools in line with defined initiatives & targets.RequirementsAdvanced knowledge in FP&A or business controlling.Strong problem-solving capabilities.Strategic Thinking, Strategy implementation.Outstanding financial and analytical skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills and highly client-oriented.Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented approach.Excellent ability to work collaboratively across functions and cultures in a global environment.Solid MS-Office knowledge, especially Excel and PowerPoint.SAP BPC knowledge is a plus.An open, positive, and communicative personality.Personal integrity, with the initiative and the ability to work as part of a team in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy.Hands-on attitude and passion for the travel/hospitality industry.Passion to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments.Must be fluent in English.
