Job Purpose
The B2B Manager role is an exciting opportunity to develop the Sony Digital Imaging business in Spain and Portugal.
You will drive our digital imaging products and solution portfolio in the market, grow and manage the B2B pipeline and market share in key segments, and you will be responsible for the sales and the profit generated by these deals.
Work with existing channel partners to further develop the B2B customer portfolio and identify new opportunities & partners through meetings, exhibitions, social media, online search, prospection tools, etc.
You will be in charge of looking for new prospects either directly or through public tenders, identifying the buying circle and needs in a wide scope: industry, media, education, government, army, law enforcement, road safety, car inspection, drone, photogrammetry, and all sectors of activity that use digital imaging solutions, in box business or via specific developments requiring access to the Software Development Kit.
Thanks to your creativity, entrepreneurial skills, and leadership, you will be constantly looking for new opportunities to drive and develop the digital imaging solution business.
You will use your sales experience, network, and communication skills to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and channel partners.
Together with the professional product manager, you will provide technical product information and/or product training, conduct product demonstrations, and assist customers with tenders and business development.
You will perform regular analysis of sales accounts, support sales representatives' field needs, conduct business projects, execute strategic sales plans, and report industry trends and competitive information to management at country and European levels.
You will work with the Salesforce CRM system to manage your customer data, quotations, and opportunities and to plan the business.
You will coordinate relationships and synergies, roles, and responsibilities with other SONY divisions (Media Solution & Imaging Sensing Solution) to maximize the effectiveness of our actions.
Key Roles
- Develop B2B sales of Digital Imaging products:
- Responsible for B2B sales in Spain and Portugal of all Digital Imaging portfolio focusing on solution business
- Achieve Sales and Profit as well as pipeline targets
- Market prospection and new leads acquisitions
- Engage with current customers and expand their sales
- Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and system integrators
- Develop solutions for customers, including the development of SDK.
- Report and explain results to local and European management.
- End-to-end events and fairs organization
- Manage spending of A&P; on all B2B related items.
Qualifications & Experience
- Sales experience in B2B, preferably in the technological industry.
- University degree in Engineering or Audio-visual is preferred.
- Excellent English and Spanish are mandatory; Portuguese will be a plus.
- Passionate about technology and technically advanced.
- Photography and videography experience will be a plus: cameras, optics, lenses, and related accessories.
- Self-driven and entrepreneurial personality.
- Availability to travel within Spain and Portugal.
