Transportation Business Coach, Amazon Freight Partner (AFP)Amazon opened its virtual doors in 1995 and strives to be the world's most customer-centric company, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online.
Amazon is currently looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking Transportation Carrier Manager to join the Transportation team. The role represents a critical function with Amazon EU Operations to continuously improve the service levels, capacities, and costs of the EU Transportation Line Haul to ensure promises to the customers are being maintained.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesTrack existing metrics to detect & remove defectsLine haul performance management (e.g. on-time truck performance)Continuous Improvement ManagementCoach, educate and facilitate the growth relationship between Amazon and our dedicated transport partners.Support Contract management and contract compliance for partnersQ4 planning and execution (Amazon Peak)Support the Operations Planning (OP) Process: goal settingsPrepare and participate recurrent Ops calls, business reviews, QBRs, Customer Service workshops (to support the improvement plans)Maintain and improve communication, process and Fulfillment Center/partner interfaceDevelop relationships with Partners to encourage and facilitate communication to drive new opportunities.To be successful in this role, you need a passion for making data-driven decisions which will have a direct impact on customer experience. You will require Transportation experience, specifically in Transport Management, Planning, Compliance, or Performance. Some keys to your success are the ability to be an effective communicator to various audiences and the ability to remain flexible and adapt to learning new tools. Our environment is deadline-driven, fast-paced, and requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable interacting and working with multiple teams.

Minimum RequirementsA degreeExperience in supply chainExperience in program or project managementExperience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metricsExperience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teamsKnowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced levelExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsExperience in driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience leading process improvementsExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesKnowledge in SQLPossess a CPCPAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
