The organisation WEC Lines is a dynamic medium-sized maritime transport organisation specialising in container transport. With +50 years of experience, our services mainly concentrate on Belgium, Germany, England, Portugal, Spain (incl. the Canary Islands), Morocco, North and East Africa and the Red Sea. Our head office is in Rotterdam and we also have branches in e.G. Hamburg, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Barcelona, Nairobi and Mombasa. At the Rotterdam head office, we are looking for a: Tender Coordinator. Key responsibilities Qualification and distribution of all incoming tenders for Short Sea and Deep Sea Determine pricing strategy and approach with Account Manager and Line Management Preparation and distribution of the RFI/RFQ with clear instructions and deadlines Align the tender Terms & Conditions with the legal department Align service delivery requirements with our Line management, Customer Service, Intermodal, Equipment and Finance departments Ensure proper and quality follow up is provided to each round Review of all tender requirements before submission Follow up on tender status, nominations with the account manager Ensure that awards are correctly filed as per agreement and stakeholders are informed Follow up on tender performance versus awards Maintain the tender calendar with status of current and upcoming tenders Profile Experience in the logistic industry, preferably in shipping Analytical, thorough and good with planning and deadlines Proactive, independent and result driven Strong and clear communicator in both Dutch and English Strong proficiency in MS Office, with the emphasis on MS Excel Offer A varied and independent position in an informal working environment.
