Software Engineer Snowflake/ Aws

Delivery Consultant @ NextLink Group | MBA, Blockchain We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in Snowflake and AWS to collaborate on a huge project for one of our top clients in the pharmaceutical sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of our cloud-based Data Warehouse platform hosted on Amazon Cloud. This includes the design, implementation, and upkeep of the Snowflake platform, which serves as a centralized hub for data management, insights, and analytics.
The candidate will be expected to develop and implement automation strategies to enable use case self-service. This involves creating automated workflows and processes that allow users to easily access and utilize the data they need without requiring manual intervention.
In addition, the candidate will be responsible for automating platform management tasks, including monitoring and maintenance of the platform to ensure its optimal performance and reliability.
Beyond these responsibilities, the candidate will also serve as a backup for our existing platform developer. This role requires the ability to step in and provide technical support when needed, ensuring the smooth operation of our platform.
Requirements Over 3 years of hands-on experience in software application development, including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
Hands-on implementation experience with RDBMS database development using SQL.
Hands-on implementation experience with AWS Services, preferably Lambdas, Step Functions, Firehose, Kinesis, Glue ETL, Application Load Balancers, ECS, SQS, and CloudWatch.
Hands-on experience with automating testing and deployment pipelines using DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket/Git.
Hands-on experience with Python.
Experience working on Data Warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Oracle.
Experience working with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
