.Senior Sales Specialist in High Voltage substationsAbout the RoleLocation: Spain, MadridRemote vs. Office: Hybrid (Remote/Office)Company: Siemens Energy S.A.Organization: Grid TechnologiesBusiness Unit: Full-timeExperience Level: Experienced ProfessionalA Snapshot of Your DayWe are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive in the high voltage substation sector!The main objective of this position is to grow the opportunity pipeline and orders in new and existing markets for substations and all the different solutions that Siemens Energy has to support our customers in the energy transition.In coordination with the relevant internal Siemens Energy (SE) team members, you steer the development of offers for customers' high voltage connections, leading the communication with them, and ensuring the offer meet their needs and expectations as much as technically possible while maintaining profitable margins.Once the technical clarifications of the solutions/products/services to be offered has been completed, you are responsible to lead the commercial offer and negotiation with the customer according to SE internal guidelines.As a Field Sales you are directly involved in the management of our customers. Your customers will be the main utilities, independent power producers, industries and infrastructure companies in Spain.How You'll Make an ImpactEstablish and maintain the partnership with key customer.Take the ownership of the whole sales process for projects opportunities within the Lead Management through to Project Handover and make necessary coordination with other involved parties to provide technically accurate and commercially/financially compliant proposals.Understand customer needs and requirements to create successful strategies offering tailored solutions.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to develop effective and differentiated strategies & tactics to achieve business objectives.Define Bid/Win Strategy and developing technical solutions to meet customer needs.Responsible for the project bid clarification and negotiation with customer. Analyze customer's requirements and RFQs to clearly understand objectives, scope, timelines, negotiation points and evaluation criteria.Ensure that the Sales and Tendering processes are implemented in line with Siemens Energy process and in a compliant and ethical manner.Work together with relevant partners: Customers, Suppliers, Managers, Colleagues), effective communication Written & Verbal.Coordinates with engineering, factories, service groups and marketing groups to resolve configuration, scope and technical changes during the quoting process.What You BringA degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related technical field.Knowledge and proven experience of the grid technology market.> 5 years experience in HVsubstations solutions and systems.
