Job Title: Senior Procurement Specialist Division: Corporate Department: Global Procurement Reports To: Manager, Global Procurement Role Summary: Deliver value and reduce risk to ADP through effective negotiation, management of vendors and vendor contracts, purchasing control, and internal influencing.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure full leverage of Global or International Vendor Agreements negotiated centrally.
Source, negotiate and manage Country Vendor Agreements (when not fully covered by Global or International Agreements) in compliance with ADP's policies.
Contribute to Global Procurement Programs by feeding country's requirements into the Category Strategy and executing program changes.
Support business partners to achieve ADP's strategic goals, minimize risks, maximize benefits, and preserve ADP's business flexibility, via best in class pricing / terms & conditions.
Minimize the number of vendors used.
Support in deploying, promoting, and maximizing usage of Global Procurement tools.
Enforce compliance of ADP Procurement policies and guidelines.
Represent Global Procurement developments and initiatives.
Work closely with Category Specialists in Global Procurement and also other Support functions especially Legal, Finance, and HR.
Job Function Competencies: Expertise in at least two Categories of Spend.
Collaborative approach to standardize and gain the trust of internal clients.
Complex negotiation with external organizations.
Financial skills to fully evaluate financial implications, build business case / exec summary and risks of contracts.
Build effective relationships with internal customers / business partners.
Self-starter, proactive in finding cost-reduction opportunities and solutions.
Experience and/or Qualifications Required: Essential: Fluency in English and Italian, other languages desirable.
Minimum 5 years Procurement experience.
Proven experience in negotiating and managing complex vendor agreements.
Experience working in a matrix organization.
Experience working with multiple business partners and senior leadership team.
Good Excel skills.
Desirable: Degree level education.
Technology Procurement Experience.
Worked in multiple countries.
Knowledge of P2P Tools.
Personal Skills Required: Organized and Accurate.
Capable influencer.
Competent verbal and written communicator.
Tenacious, but calm.
