.Senior Procurement Buyer - IT InfrastructureGlobal Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) ensures that external spend in all areas of IT and non-IT is managed in a professional and compliant way for Allianz Group. The international procurement teams negotiate global frame contracts and/or global agreements with external vendors to steer global external spend and to leverage the buying power of the Allianz Group. The "IT Infrastructure Strategic Procurement Team" is responsible for all sourcing activities of the Global Category "IT Infrastructure" within Allianz Group. The category covers a wide range of services related to information technology, including procurement of services like implementation, development of applications, managed IT services, or system integration services.Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Buyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Infrastructure sourcing. The successful candidate will join the "IT Infrastructure Strategic Procurement Team" at Allianz Group and will be responsible for managing the sourcing activities within the Global Category "IT Infrastructure". This role will play a crucial part in the procurement of various IT services, including implementation, HW & SW and related services purchasing, application development, managed IT services, and system integration services.Responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT Infrastructure services, ensuring alignment with Allianz Group's overall procurement objectives and goals.Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on their capabilities, price competitiveness, and overall performance.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on sourcing options and best practices.Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, while ensuring quality and timely delivery of goods and services.Manage supplier relationships, including regular performance evaluations, contract renewals, and issue resolution.Monitor market trends and technological advancements in IT Infrastructure to identify potential opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procurement policies and procedures.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including IT departments and other business units, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Lead or participate in cross-functional teams and projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement function.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement team members, sharing expertise and best practices.Familiar with state of the art sourcing strategies, e.G. e-auctions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
