..Job Description - Senior Business Finance Analyst (14001810R1D20240524)Job DescriptionSenior Business Finance Analyst ( Job Number: 14001810R1D20240524 )DISCOVER your opportunitySenior Business Finance AnalystSpain – Madrid, UK – London or India – GurgaonWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Finance Business Analyst in the Global Chief Underwriting Office (GCUO).This role includes analyzing and reporting results of the Global CUO Office and AXA XL Division on a monthly,quarterly and annual basis to senior management and internal stakeholders.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a great team who are directly involved in many cross-functional deliverables and projects.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?Responsible for the GCUO finance processes including quarter close, budgeting and forecasting, adhering to internal timelines through to review and ultimate submission of key deliverables on monthly, quarterly, and annual basisPreparation of commentaries and analyses for reporting and ensure they are aligned with relevant processes and strategies, this includes quarterly P&L; analysis to Risk Consulting Leadership TeamEnsure appropriate governance through procedures, instructions, and clear timelines, meeting internal and AXA XL deadlinesBe an effective and trusted finance business partner by providing relevant data and information to enable GCUO Leadership Team to make informed decisionsManage and actively monitor all GCUO Budgeting, Forecasts and Pre-Close exercises/deliverables for direct expenses and fee Income.Continuous improvement of key reporting processes,analysis and KPI'sEngage in financial and strategic dialogues with key stakeholders,providing accurate analysisLeading the development and maintenance of quarterly reports to sustain ongoing monitoring of GCUO expenses, in close collaboration with HR and the Expense Team to comprehend variances and contribute to identifying potential saving opportunities and supporting the achievement of GCUO expense targetYou will report to the Global Head of Finance GCUO.We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Proven experience in Reporting or Controlling, including financial planning and analysis, reporting, and accounting procedures, preferable with extensive experience in reinsurance/insurance industry.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Outstanding project management skills with a demonstrated capability to handle competing priorities during compressed reporting timelines.Effective collaborative and proactive work ethic.Ability to navigate a complex global organization, understand constituencies served, and develop/leverage relationships necessary to bring matters to resolution#J-18808-Ljbffr
