Position:
Responsible for the schedule for its procurement area: According to the collection schedule, coordinate with the procurement manager the purchasing schedule from prebuy to final order to guarantee deliveries of materials according to production needs.
Identify potential issues with the suppliers and propose back-up plans to management and internal partners.
Orders - management: Analyse needs for fabrics from Prebuy to final order, for quantities and dates.
Pass orders in the systems, maintain the delivery dates, quantities, and split of orders in the system.
Get the necessary information from the PLM - alert development in case of discrepancies.
Identify negotiation opportunities for prices.
Overview the validation process of the samples to respect the delivery schedule - anticipate any necessary steps, providing all the necessary information (samples, quantities, use, destination).
Manage physical dispatch of the goods till final destination (transportation, external quality control).
Make reception of the materials in the system.
Help for any issue regarding the purchased material after delivery.
Manage suppliers' invoices and respect lead times.
Communication: Create a strong relationship with the key suppliers, make regular visits, and communicate constantly. Establish Loewe as a priority customer.
Build a constant trustful communication with internal customers (Production planning - Quality), informing of all issues or modifications that may impact the collection.
Establish excellent communication with Paris (development and industrialisation teams) to anticipate new collections purchases and get necessary information.
Continuous improvement: Analyse issues and gaps between current processes and tools and LOEWE's needs.
Propose solutions and participate in the implementation of new processes or tools.
Profile:
5 years of experience in Ready to Wear or Leather goods, within a Brand significantly developed structure with efficient organisation.
Demonstrated efficiency in Purchasing.
Able to adapt in a fast-paced, changing brand, that is building new ways of working.
Leadership, energy, and excellent communication.
Academic Background: Engineering, science degree, or business administration degree. Technical or business management background preferred, 4 years in Purchasing or supply chain management.
Languages required: Italian, English (fluent C1, mandatory and proven), Spanish (min B level), French is a plus.
Computer skills: Knowledge of ERP and PLM systems, good knowledge of Excel.
