Education and qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biosciences (e.g., Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines).Experience and knowledge:
Required:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in wet lab research.Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, and flow cytometry techniques.Experience working with animal models of infectious diseases.Advanced English is required.
Valued:Experience in parasitic culture (T. cruzi and Leishmania).Main responsibilities and duties: Independently conduct routine and non-routine experiments, including molecular analysis (DNA and RNA extraction, qPCR) and cell culture experiments (tissue explant culture, viral and bacterial and parasitic infections, flow cytometry).Perform in vivo infection experiments using mouse models.Tissue processing and flow cytometry.Coordination of sample collection.Ensure quality control of equipment, reagents, and cellular components.Labour conditions: Position linked to a project: 40 hours/week.Starting date: January 2025.Gross annual salary: (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills.
