WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Research Associate within BCG's Data and Research Service (DRS) function, you will form an integral part of our European DRS team.
Through the delivery of secondary research, you will contribute to BCG's client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases and business or internal development initiatives.
You will clearly synthesize, package, articulate and deliver your findings in a timely and accurate manner and conduct research on commercial, multi-industry and economic topics.
Excellent organizational skills are essential for successfully managing a variety and volume of research requests by accurately summarizing data and facts into appropriate and timely output i.e. email, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Along with supporting research products (i.e. news alerts, company profiles etc.), you will also contribute to knowledge capture and documentation.
BCG's Industrial Goods practice serves three broad industrial segments: Automotive & Mobility, Greentech & Engineered Products, and Materials & Process Industries.
As part of DRS - Industrial Goods team, we help clients think beyond the limits of their traditional business models, choose where and how they should add value, and reorganize to defend themselves against new threats and exploit new opportunities.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
• Undergraduate Degree minimum (a preference for a degree in engineering and sciences)
• 0-2 years of relevant working experience, in Industrial Goods topics, preferably in Greentech & Engineered Products, such as industrial automation, machinery and components, mechanical engineering
• Excellent English and Spanish; and fluent German (preferred)
• Ability to work with a wide array of office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; to be able to provide insights in the most user-friendly format.

DRS works with both qualitative and quantitative data, conducting research and providing synthesized results from over 100 commercial sources, publicly available data, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities and trade data.
