Position: Research Assistant Group of Research of Allergology and Immunology Laboratory.
Systemic Diseases Research Group.
JOB DESCRIPTION Education and qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Sciences Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, and English (business level) Desired: Specific training and advanced knowledge in clinical immunology and molecular biology techniques.
Proficiency in computer tools for data recording and clinical report management.
Experience and knowledge: Knowledge and experience working in specialized analytical techniques Ability to work in a team Good skill in organization Communication skills for interacting with other healthcare professionals Main responsibilities and duties: Perform specialized analytical techniques, including: Western Blot for the detection and analysis of specific proteins/allergens.
Flow cytometry for the characterization and quantification of cells, particularly in the study of basophil subpopulations.
ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) for the quantification of proteins, antibodies, and other biomarkers in biological fluids.
Cell cultures PCR, ddPCR, qPCR Omics studies related to research projects (transcriptomics, metabolomics).
Handling and preparation of samples for analysis.
Interpretation and recording of results according to established protocols.
Maintenance, calibration, and quality control of laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reliability of results.
Participate in the continuous improvement of laboratory protocols and the implementation of new diagnostic techniques.
Management of biological samples and clinical data related to patients in the section.
Assistance in the documentation and recording of test results and follow-ups.
Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team in the Department of Allergy and the Immunology Lab.
Working conditions: Full-time position: 40h/week.
Starting date: September-October 2024 Duration: 18 months.
Possibility of prolongation.
Gross annual salary: 26,000 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills.
Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
