R-366 - Postdoc Position

We are searching for a motivated Postdoc Researcher to participate in the project "Development of the anti-epileptogenic drug ACT-03 for the treatment of epilepsy." This project aims to study the preclinical development of a drug based on the selective inhibition of metalloproteinases to prevent and/or reduce epileptic seizures, thus contributing to slow the progression of epilepsy and its associated comorbidities in patients of all ages. This project has the possibility of direct collaboration with industry aiming for high-impact publication.The mechanism of transport through the blood-brain barrier of ACT-03 will be evaluated in detail by means of microdialysis studies in control mice and a mouse model of the disease, as well as efficacy studies in a preclinical model of TCE in order to expand the indications and applications of ACT-03.Specific Requirements:PhD in neuroscience or related field.Valid FELASA-accredited certificate to work with experimental animals.Experience in working with experimental animals and microdialysis.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SPSS.#J-18808-Ljbffr
