My client is a leading Private Debt fund who manage over EUR13bn across Europe and have a track record stretching back over 15 years. They are looking to grow their presence in Madrid by expanding their Operations team. You will join a thriving office with plenty of room to grow in the future.The Operations Associate role is primarily focused on assisting various deal teams with all matters related to deal execution as well as maintenance of the investment portfolio in IHS systems whilst also working alongside external fund administrators. Furthermore, the role will have responsibility for all matters related to credit/ABL facilities as well as sub lines, including management, compliance testing, reporting, etc.Key ResponsibilitiesOwnership of building, tracking and reconciling investments and their various components throughout their investment life.Assist in the closing of Direct Lending investments; which can involve tradeallocation, initiating funding processes, fund compliance etc.Support wider team with ongoing queries and improvement projects, e.G. from Systems, IR, auditors etc.Primary contact for the day to day operations for a set of DL funds; e.G. liquidity planning, maintaining fund models.Maintain a set of ABL facilities (CLOs type structures); e.G. quarterly payment dates, hypo investment testing, optimization, amendments, reporting, audits etc.Responsible for a set of Sub lines; compliance, liquidity planning, monitoring etc.Working closely with the Portfolio Team on impact of performance in underlying investments on the portfolio, with a focus on ABL lines.Working with the external Fund Administrators to ensure accuracy of data and reporting as well as executing payments.Working with wider teams in the business for improvements in policy, processes, systems on an ad hoc basis.Any other duties as required from time to time.Qualifications/ExperienceDegree an advantage but not essential.Minimum 2 years' experience working within operations at a credit manager.Excellent written and spoken English.Knowledge of closing loans and tracking loan portfolios.Ideally an understanding of CLO structures, payment waterfalls and covenant tests.Strong working knowledge of Excel models.Ability to develop relationships internally across the business and externally with service providers.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent#J-18808-Ljbffr
