Mission As the Project Manager for PLD Space, your mission is to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the company's projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end management of PLD Space's projects from initiation to closure, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and other departments to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables. Develop project plans, work breakdown structures, and schedules, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer expectations. Monitor project progress, identify issues and risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to internal stakeholders, customers, and partners, ensuring transparency and alignment. Facilitate effective team meetings, reviews, and decision-making processes to foster collaboration and drive results. Coordinate with external vendors, subcontractors, and partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services in accordance with project requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and quality management systems throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and present project reports, presentations, and documentation to senior management and key stakeholders. Generate documentation for formal program development reviews. Provide high-level and low-level feedback for MIURA 5 program development planning. Necessary Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, aerospace, or related field, advanced degree preferred. Experience managing complex projects in the aerospace, defense, or technology industries. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
