The PIM Product Specialist will play a critical role in executing a structured approach to the collection, creation, maintenance, and distribution of master product data, ensuring the integrity of our product information.
This role involves close collaboration with the development team, marketing team, and other stakeholders to ensure that our PIM system meets customer needs and supports business growth.1) Key responsibilities:- Product Data Management:Create, input, review, approve, and distribute product master data using various tools and workflows.Work with vendors and third parties to collect and update data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Manage data requests in support of business processes, new product sales initiatives, and mergers and acquisitions.- Data Quality and Continuous Improvement:Drive excellence in data quality through data cleansing and best practices for data construction.Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, automate processes, and improve data quality within the PIM system.Provide input into the development of PIM data collection templates and workflows to optimize data management.- Collaboration and Data Stewardship:- Work collaboratively as a data steward within cross-functional teams to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements related to PIM data.- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to support business needs and ensure alignment with PIM data standards.- System Support and Troubleshooting:- Ensure the success of data output feeds by troubleshooting issues and making updates as required.- Monitor system performance and work with IT and development teams to address any technical issues related to PIM data.2) Key requirements:Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience (online merchandising, CMS, online marketing, or similar)
