Product Development Engineer (Automotive)

At Itera Mobility Engineering, we are searching for candidates to fill future needs within the automotive business in Europe. The candidate will work with one of the leading automotive supplier located in Valencia, Spain.We are looking to fill two Product Development (PD) positions:1 focused on automotive interior/Exterior parts in general.1 focus specifically on headliners.The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full product development process from ideation to production.Responsibilities:Lead the full product development process : From initial concept and ideation through to production and launch.Design and development : Create and refine interior components or headliners to meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams : Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of projects.Customer liaison : Act as a technical point of contact for customers, providing updates and addressing any concerns throughout the development process.Qualification & Experience:At least 3-5 years of previous experience in the Automotive industry.Knowledge of Coretools: FMEA, SPC, APQP.Solid experience working with CATIA V5 or NX (Mandatory)Strong understanding of material properties, manufacturing processes, and industry standards related to automotive interiors and headliners.Experience working with interior parts (Mandatory)Knowledge of the specific requirements of customers. CRS (Customer Specific Requirements).Final customer service and orientation, project reporting, and task follow-up.Fluent communication, and reporting skillsLocation: Valencia, Spain.
