Horizon Europe - ERCReference Number: 101071726Offer DescriptionJob Position: Postdoctoral ResearcherPostdoctoral researcher for HE-ERC Synergy project MEDGREENREV: Re-thinking the Green revolution in the Medieval Western Mediterranean (6th-16th centuries).Tasks:Research in written documentation and archives.Fieldwork for the identification of cultivation spaces.Creation of panimetries of cultivation spaces, selection of plots for surveying.Writing of reports and scientific publications.Job Position Requirements:PhD (mandatory; will be positively evaluated: Degree in History, Master degree in Medieval History specialization, and PhD in Medieval History).Languages: English (fluent) + Catalan or Spanish.Working experience (will be positively evaluated): Experience in research focused on the study of feudal colonization in conquest areas of al-Andalus.Other: stays in research centers, teaching in medieval history, publications related to the research topic.Contract Details:2-year contract (34,200€ salary per year), 37.5 hours working hours per week, 30 days holidays per year.Eligibility Criteria:Academic record: 35 points (Degree in History: 10; Master's degree in a specialty related to medieval history: 15; Doctorate in the specialty of medieval history: 20).Work experience in research on medieval documentation, feudal colonization, and agricultural areas: 40 points.Language proficiency: English B2 or higher: 2 points; French B1 or higher: 1 point; Fluency in Catalan: 1 point; Fluency in Spanish: 1 point.Other merits: 20 points (Organization of RD activities: 5; Stays in research centers: 5; Teaching in medieval history: 5; Publications related to the research topic: 5).Minimum score required to pass the selection process: 70.Selection Process:1st curricular phase.2nd interview phase (for those candidates obtaining over 70 points in the curricular phase).Note: Any application that is not submitted in this way will not be included in the selection process.Programmes: EU – HORIZON ERC-SYNERGY - 101071726To validate your request, please complete the form available at https://seleccio.uab.cat/.
