Postdoctoral researcher for HE-ERC Synergy project MEDGREENREV: Re-thinking the Green revolution in the Medieval Western Mediterranean (6th-16th centuries).
Tasks:Research in written documentation and archivesFieldwork for the identification of cultivation spacesCreation of panimetries of cultivation spaces and selection of plots for surveyingWriting of reports and scientific publicationsJob Position Requirements:PhD - mandatory (Degree in History, Master degree in Medieval History specialization, and PhD in Medieval History will be positively evaluated)Languages: English (fluent) + Catalan or SpanishWorking experience (will be positively evaluated): Experience in research focused on the study of feudal colonization in conquest areas of al-AndalusOther: Stays in research centers, teaching in medieval history, publications related to the research topicContract Details: 2 year contract (34,200€ salary per year)

Eligibility Criteria:Academic Record: 35Degree in History: 10; Master's degree in a specialty related to medieval history: 15; Doctorate in the specialty of medieval history: 20Work experience in research on medieval documentation, feudal colonization, and agricultural areas: 40English B2 or higher: 2; French B1 or higher: 1; Fluency in Catalan: 1; Fluency in Spanish: 1Other Merits: 20Organization of R&D activities: 5; Stays in research centers: 5; Teaching in medieval history: 5; Publications related to the research topic: 5Minimum score required to pass the selection process: 70
