Descripción The Bioinformatics Unit within the Structural Biology programme is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and talented post-doctoral bioinformatician with experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to cancer research to enhance AI within CNIO.
The selected candidate will work in the collection, analysis and interpretation of biological/clinical data, with a focus on high-throughput sequencing data.
He or She will design data analysis strategies and develop and use computational tools for the exploration of large cancer data sets and the application of AI/ML methodologies for cancer research.

• Practical experience in high-throughput cancer genome data analysis (next-generation sequencing, gene expression, etc) and familiarity with widely used genomic databases and software.
• Experience developing bioinformatics tools for analyzing cancer genomics data will be plus.
• Experience in AI-based predictive models, machine learning and data analysis.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English required.
