Operations Manager - International Project Valencian CommunityAt GXO, we are constantly seeking talent at all levels to develop the level of service that our company requires.We are currently looking for an Operations Manager who, as the head of operations, will be responsible for the direction and performance of a department with more than 100 people, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and customer service levels.What will you do in your day to day?Manage the processes and tasks in their charge, making use of the resources available to guarantee the operation of the Centre.
Plan the activity of the sections, establishing priorities, anticipating possible difficulties and proposing actions to ensure their productivity.Ensure that the activities and tasks established for each shift by the Head of Area are fulfilled under the procedures and quality standards provided, with the aim of ensuring maximum efficiency in the fulfillment of the Section's operations.Adapt the tasks and the distribution of the Section's resources according to the variability of operations, finding solutions to problems or raising incidents if necessary, in order to ensure the correct development of the activity.Coordinate the Section team according to operational needs, coordinating the rotation of the work groups and supervising that the team has the necessary training and skills, in order to guarantee the correct development of the activity and maximize the level of productivity in the Section.Ensure the use of technical resources (technology, software, machinery, electronic devices, etc.
), that the ORP measures are complied with and that the products/garments, processes and procedures reach the quality and environmental levels required by the regulations.How you are going to do it?Distribute the workforce according to operational needs.Adapt tasks taking into account different and varied situations.Execute the directives received by the Management, finding solutions to specific causes and problems.Ensure compliance with the operations and work instructions, as well as the prevention and safety standards established in the Centre.Monitor tasks effectively.Maintain the order and cleanliness of the Center.Be in continuous contact with different departments.Report information to other areas.Maintain a global vision of the Distribution Center.Inform and communicate operational instructions to your team, ensuring their understanding.Evaluate the personnel in their charge.What you need to succeed at GXO:Higher Education (Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Technical Engineering).Training in leadership and communication.Training in continuous improvement methodology (lean, agile).Basic level of Occupational Risk Prevention.Advanced office tools: Office, Excel, Access, Power BI.Also, it would be great if you are:People management: Ability to obtain the best performance through the professional and personal development of employees.
