Woodgreen Community Services: Vice President, Community Health Support Services Location: Mislata, Madrid Employment Type: Full Time, Non-Bargaining Unit Work Hours: 35 hours/week Application Deadline: Open until filled Position Overview Reporting to the President CEO, the VP, Community Health and Support Services has strategic and operational responsibility to lead all health and support services programs and to maintain WoodGreen's leadership position in the sector.
As a key member of the senior management team, the VP will help set the strategic direction for WoodGreen; represent WoodGreen on a sector, community, and political level; and further grow and develop seniors and health services programs.
What You Will Do Senior Management Team: Participates in developing, planning, and implementing strategies to successfully lead and manage WoodGreen Community Services.
Strategic and Annual Plan: Creates a Strategic Plan that supports the mission and reflects the government's agenda.
Recommends to the President CEO an Annual Plan for all health and support services programs that supports WoodGreen's Strategic Plan and is designed to achieve the organization's objectives.
Team Leadership: Develops and maintains an effective organization structure that reflects operational needs, outlines and refines roles and responsibilities, and modifies the structure as needed.
Attracts, develops, coaches, and retains high-performance team members, empowering them to elevate their level of responsibility, span of control, and performance.
Program Operations Leadership and Management: Responsible for the effective and consistent delivery of all Health and Support Services by working with the community to identify program needs and services; liaising with partners, government, and OHTs to ensure the effective coordination of programs.
Knowledge Management: Develops the necessary systems, processes, and tools to better support the facilitation, collection, and sharing of data and knowledge that is generated by Programs.
External Relationships: Ensures the organization and its mission are consistently presented in a strong and positive image to clients, the public, relevant stakeholders, and partners by actively cultivating relationships with key partner organizations.
What You Bring to the Team University Degree, preferably a Masters, in a related field.
Ideally 10 years of management experience: recruited, managed, and developed a strong team.
Track record of success in an operational leadership role managing people and budgets in a health care organization or not-for-profit entity that provides social services-oriented programs, ideally related to seniors or mental health.
