.We are searching for a Contracts Specialist/Engineer with quantity surveying experience.The general purpose of the role is managing all costs related to construction contracts on the project, from the initial calculations to the final figures.Seeking to minimize the costs of the project and enhance value for money while still achieving the required standards and quality.Responsibilities:Gathering and compiling data essential to the administration of contractsAssists with the implementation of contracts administration proceduresCoordinates or monitors the completion of administrative tasksAdministers activities associated with contracts for servicesParticipates in and/or conducts proposal preparationContract administrationCustomer contact activitiesCoordinates the subcontracting activities post-award for an assigned projectAdministrate contracts per proceduresIdentify and advise project and supply management of (commercial) risksAssist in handling of claims and disputesMonitor contractor performance and delivery of services to meet objectivesIdentify, solicit, and select reliable contractors to supply/install consultancy, specialty, and construction services to support project executionNegotiate Terms & ConditionsPrepare contractsMonitor Contractor performanceDelivery of Services to meet objectivesProvide agreed approvals and supporting documentation for payment of invoices to ensure the required services to its customersThe focus of activities and therefore skillset is Quantity Surveying activities!OrganisatieOur client is a leading global provider of professional project and asset services in the energy, chemicals, and resources sector.
