Accountabilities:As the SAAS Revenue Recognition Manager, you will act as the interface between finance, commercial and AZ GFS (Global Financial Services of AstraZeneca) for all Saas accounting issues. You will manage revenue and costs adjustments, recognition, and accounting. You will also be responsible for the creation and processing of revenue documents. The role offers the opportunity to build and lead the function going forward.
Ensuring Software, Hardware and professional services are properly accounted and recognised in line with Evinova Revenue Recognition Policy.Lead month-end close process for a portfolio of studies and services, working with a team of international accountants within GFS.Complete reconciliations and prepare supporting schedules as needed.Prepare monthly financial statements including trend and variance analysis.Own the SAAS accounting processes, including streamlining workflow and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.Increase efficiency and document complex accounting processes with clients, including internal processes and control. Essential Skills/Experience:Strong experience in Saas revenue recognition accounting (10 years).Experience of accounting &/or controlling activities including: month-end close, reconciliations & variance analysis, financial controls, strong Excel skills.Experience of working with colleagues inside & outside of finance.Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills, including oral & written English.University degree.Proactive & take the initiative.Attention to detail.Challenge status quo.See the bigger picture beyond just your role.Build strong, trusting relationships.Team player. Desirable Skills/Experience:Accounting qualification.Lean six sigma experience.
