This position is related to the Logistics function and requires follow-up on daily logistics activities, including stock control, acting as a point of contact between markets and the Global Supply Chain. Close cooperation with Marketing and other functions within the Company is required for the implementation of projects, and an agile mindset is necessary. The candidate will cooperate from a leading perspective within the Logistics function, focusing on process improvement to maximize value added to the business.
What will you do – responsibilities: Demand planning: Calculate, check and validate purchase orders based on sales estimations and within the frame of the contracts with distributors.Inventory management: Monitor shipments daily to ensure alignment with shipment plans. Propose variations to adjust stocks to market demand needs and solve incidences related to Logistics activity.Special dedication to stock control (FG-Finished goods and NTMs-Non-Tobacco materials) in view of the implementation of packaging change projects. Close monitoring of FG and NTMs stocks, reporting the situation and proposing corrective measures to issues.Cooperate in minimizing product write-offs by implementing measures to control inventory levels and product ageing.Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Participate in the process to ensure market demand is met with production plans, aligned with financial goals and supply chain capabilities.Management of incidences related to Track & Trace in deliveries to distributors.Management of invoicing to customers and other transactions via SAP, including purchase orders linked to Logistics activity.Actively participate in market projects in close cooperation with other functions.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes/activities and reduce delivery times.Who are we looking for – requirements: University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Finance or Engineering are an advantage).3-5 years in Supply Chain / Logistics in a multinational environment.Advanced English level is required; Spanish is an advantage.MS Office user (a high level of Excel is required).Advanced SAP S4/Hana user and SAP IBP experience.Recruitment process: Thank you very much for your interest in the role.
