.This position is accountable for managing a profile of large functional coatings customers in Europe and end users representing both powder and liquid coatings in related segments such as but not limited to pipe, field joints, valve, and fittings. The role involves managing customers and prospects to develop the business and achieve team targets.This is a multi-task role covering both technical and sales responsibilities. The position reports to the Segment Director, EMEAI, and can be home-based.Sales Responsibilities:Manage Sherwin's relationship as a single point of contact with defined customers in the EU.Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials.Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.Develop and execute formal account plans, including strategies for each targeted sub-segment.Respond to questions and concerns from customers, applying a working understanding of product lines and application methods to ensure customer satisfaction.Complete necessary paperwork correctly and on a timely basis (e.G., sales reports, monthly reports, lab requests).Gather and report market intelligence.Attend industry and trade shows, adeptly networking within the industry.P&L responsibility for assigned accounts.Technical Service and End Users Approval Responsibilities:Attend product trial qualifications and project startups to provide technical support for the required performance of the coating system.Proactively analyze and optimize coating processes implemented on the customer line to ensure smooth and effective implementation.Act as a trusted Technical Consultant for customers by positioning Sherwin Williams' strengths in technology, quality, and speed.Support R&D activities in prioritizing product development to ensure alignment with market and product needs.Continuously support and extend the number of approvals by attending technical meetings with end users/engineering companies.Prioritize end users and time spent on them.Act as a link among related functions within the company to support product developments and production activities within the region.Minimum Requirements:Material, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering degree.English + any other languages.Flexibility to travel in the regions (EMEAI).Excellent communication and technical skills.10+ years related industry (pipe) coatings experience.Flexibility to travel.***Please be aware that you can apply for any internal job offer after a minimum of one year in the current role, having previously informed your manager
