Description: About Gartner Digital Markets: We are looking for a Senior Manager of Marketing Planning and Strategy to lead the strategic and day-to-day management of a significant-sized marketing budget.
This role will report to the Director of Marketing Operations.
You'll be responsible for strategic budgeting and planning efforts which include acquisition, retention, and brand efforts across various channels.
The goal of this position is to maximize ROAS by allocating spend in the most efficient and effective way across our program.
What You Will Do: Own budgeting and strategic planning process within the marketing department, including partnering with leadership and stakeholders to best calibrate efforts for our stated business goals and targets.Day-to-day management of marketing performance reporting and support across channel teams, which includes managing and analyzing forecasting models that measure and track the output of all marketing spend (ROI, CAC, Revenue, GP) and provide recommendations for incremental spend, reallocation, or reduction.Proactively identify optimization opportunities across the full funnel to optimize the efficiency of the program and support audience-centric and brand-enhancing initiatives.Provide strategic recommendations on how to leverage spend across a complex landscape of various channels, campaigns, bidding strategies, and brands to support the P&L objectives by ensuring accurate marketing inputs.Coordinate and own marketing spend across key functions (technology, agencies, etc.)
and partner with Finance, Accounting, and Procurement to streamline efforts.Partner with Analytics and Finance to build accurate forecasting models that enable scenario planning and accurate tracking into the marketing P&L.Guide
