NoOffer DescriptionMission:Develop tools for precise planetary navigation using the SPICE toolkit from JPL/NASA.Design a tool for the accurate navigation of footage obtained by the ISS instrument of the Cassini Mission based at SPICE.Process footage to obtain high-resolution information about the atmosphere of Saturn.Debug the Shallow Water (SW) model integrated into the SA3 code of the TUAREG band for atmospheric systems, introducing perturbations to simulate distinct atmospheric phenomena.Conduct proofs of concept for new numeric diagrams for the development of the SW model.Support research conducted by doctoral students involved in the project.Engage in geophysical fluid dynamics for planetary atmospheres.Professional Experience:Experience in planning planetary missions.Experience in the development of software and version control tools.Experience in similar functions is valued, particularly in research activities within university or industrial settings.Languages:ENGLISH: GoodCATALAN: BasicSPANISH: GoodYears of Research Experience:1 - 4Additional InformationEligibility Criteria: All candidates who cannot prove the required academic degree will be immediately withdrawn from the selection process.The CVs will be assessed according to the following general criteria:The maximum score for candidates who meet all eligibility criteria is 10 points.Threshold: 5 points.Score Distribution:1 point for required specialty.2 points for required academic training.2 points for technical competencies.1 point for organizational competencies.3 points for professional experience.1 point for any aspect of the candidate's profile deemed especially relevant by the Selection Committee.If the Selection Committee decides to include a personal interview as an additional step, only candidates scoring 5 or above will be retained for the interview.The interview will be assessed according to the following criteria:Threshold: 3 points.Score Distribution:2 points for adequacy to functional competencies of the job.2 points for adequacy of professional experience.1 point for any aspect of the candidate's profile deemed especially relevant by the Selection Committee.Eligible candidates will be ranked from highest to lowest score based on these selection criteria.#J-18808-Ljbffr
