Cimsa's strategic plan is to grow the business by providing greater support to Ferrovial Construction in Spain and internationally, as well as expanding its external clients (main contractors and engineering consultancy).Responsibilities:Reporting to the Manager of CIMSA, manage the operational areas of the plans under your responsibility (project management, production, site personnel, HSQE, operations, logistics, planning, and budget) and drive project achievement.Ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment.Make decisions based on project reports with key results, production, planned vs actual, milestones, etc.Prepare the project budget (MASTER, APO, PAS), monthly cost reports, deviation analysis, and implementation of mitigation measures.Manage purchases and suppliers.
Production, comparative analysis, and selection of vendors and suppliers.
Manage the machinery and equipment fleet.Maintain relationships with clients.Collaborate with the Technical Department to identify value engineering opportunities that will provide cost and/or schedule savings.Develop and maintain a working relationship with Ferrovial production managers and auditors.Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering, Channels, and Ports or Mining Engineering.
Postgraduate training in geotechnical field is a plus.Minimum of 15 years of experience in special foundations, relevant projects in the geotechnical field, and techniques such as: screens with hydrofraise, piles, jet grouting, injections and soil treatments, micropiles, and anchors.International experience and a strong knowledge of managing all areas of a construction project.Good leadership skills and experience in managing project teams (white-collar and blue-collar).Good communication skills.Ferrovial Construction is a company that promotes Equal Opportunities and, as such, treats all applications equally and hires solely based on skills and experience.
