We are currently looking to appoint a Science and Technology Teacher for the Secondary stage. The subjects will be taught in English.
Main Responsibilities:Curriculum Delivery: Delivering lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum. This includes planning and organizing lessons, selecting appropriate teaching materials, and adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of students.Classroom Management: Creating a positive and conducive learning environment by managing student behavior, maintaining discipline, and ensuring a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.Assessment and Evaluation: Designing and conducting assessments, tests, and assignments to evaluate students' language proficiency, comprehension, and writing skills. Providing timely feedback on student performance and progress.Parent and Teacher Communication: Maintaining open and effective communication with parents or guardians to provide updates on students' progress, address concerns, and collaborate on students' educational goals.Administrative Tasks: Completing administrative duties related to record-keeping, attendance, and reporting as required by the school and education authorities.Collaborative Work: Collaborating with colleagues, including other teachers, counselors, and administrators, to coordinate curriculum development, assessments, and educational initiatives.Professional Ethics: Upholding professional ethics and standards, including safeguarding, maintaining confidentiality, and respecting diversity and inclusion in the classroom.Requisites:Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Physics, or similarHigh level of English (the subjects will be taught 100% in English)Spanish is desirableExperience teaching the subjectsA valid work permit to work in Spain/European UnionWe offer:Full time jobFree lunch at the school cantineAn international, dynamic and enriching work environmentAt Globeducate we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
