Total Number of Openings1Chevron is accepting online applicants for the Financial Analyst position through August 25th at 11:59 PM.The position will provide financial and accounting support to the organization, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and contributing to the enhancement of operational financial processes.Responsibilities:Oversee the sole GA accounting process supporting the business.
Work collaboratively with the different departments to ensure accurate accounting of GA and precise calculation of accruals, covering both for sole and recoverable costs.Assist the different departments by providing accurate actual GA expense figures to facilitate effective tracking against the Business Plan and forecasted estimates.
Engage actively in the Finance department's outlook monitoring process.Manage payroll activities in line with organizational policies and government regulations.Engage in monthly closing processes, collaborating with the Shared Service Center, providing support and guidance, and offering business insights when required.Perform quarterly account reconciliations adhering to Corporate Accounting Policies and US GAAP.Support the account payable team by facilitating the resolution of issues and contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of the various tools employed by the team.Support external audits, providing necessary documentation and information to auditors.Identify and implement team process improvements, streamline procedures, and adopt new technologies in partnership with the IT department.Required Qualifications:Accounting Proficiency: +5 years of general accounting work experience.Analytical: Capable of identifying all aspects of a problem and understanding why a problem exists; providing a solution.Technical: Demonstrate ability to manipulate data with Excel or other applications/tools and apply results to Financial ERP modules (i.e., SAP / JDE).
Able to identify and initiate work process improvements.Advanced English level.JDE experience.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced command of productivity tools like Power Query, Power App, and SharePoint.Relocation Options:Relocation is not offered for this role.
