About the opportunityWe have an exciting opportunity to join the N26 CEO Office as Executive Assistant to our Chief People Officer (CPeO).
At N26, our team of Executive Assistants provides high-level management support, clerical and business assistance, plus direction and guidance to support in the achievement of strategic priorities and business goals and objectives.
This opportunity will allow you to see what the daily life of a C-Level executive is like, how N26 is managed, and how our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) works together.
ObjectivesThe Executive Assistant is responsible for providing sophisticated administrative and operational support while contributing to projects that help drive business priorities and strengthen team collaboration.Working in partnership with the executive, the Executive Assistant is responsible for helping to manage team morale and enabling the executive to maintain an optimal mindset, energy, and focus.In this role, you will:Assist in managing the executive's competing time, focus, and priorities in line with strategic objectives and short-term goals:Manage complex calendars across multiple time zones, vetting, prioritizing, and optimizing scheduling.Act as a gatekeeper for the CPeO by reviewing incoming requests.Screen and review communications to and from the CPeO, prioritizing based on relevance.Proactively solve or manage day-to-day office management issues.Draft communications, documents, and presentations with instruction from the CPeO.Manage and oversee projects as directed, including following up on deadlines and deliverables.Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and drive change management efforts.Assist and manage logistics for events planning, including team meetings and offsites.Anticipate the executive's needs in advance, preparing materials for decision-making.Prepare complex travel itineraries on short notice.Ensure all logistical and administrative duties are completed in a timely manner.As well as have the following responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, internal executives, and stakeholders.Partner with other Executive Assistants in the N26 CEO Office to drive efficiency.Support initiatives of the CPeO as required.Report into the N26 CEO Office and be an integral team member.What you need to be successful:Background: Several years of relevant work experience as an Executive Assistant or similar.Strong curiosity and experience in HR or People and Culture.Previous experience leading an administrative office.Fluency in business-level English and German; Spanish is a bonus.This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be in the office at least three days a week.This position will be based in Barcelona, with potential relocation from Berlin.Skills: Excellent communicator with exceptional emotional intelligence.Highly competent at managing workflow and priorities.Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.Good at assessing and analyzing information.Social media management skills are a plus.Adept at learning the roles and responsibilities of the CPeO and his team.Possess advanced office software skills and strong written communication skills.Rational thinker with problem-solving capabilities.Adept at managing complex stakeholders and situations.Ability to react with urgency to situations requiring quick turnaround.What's in it for you:Accelerate your career growth by joining one of Europe's most talked about disruptors.Employee benefits including a competitive personal development budget and work-from-home budget.Access to a Premium subscription on your personal N26 bank account.Additional day of annual leave for each year of service.A high degree of autonomy and access to cutting-edge technologies.A relocation package with visa support for those who need it.Who we areN26 has reimagined banking for today's digital world.
