Description:Working as part of our Business Assurance European marketing team, this temporary position will support on developing Intertek's strategy and objectives of 5 customer events that will be run across Europe in H2 2024. You will have the flexibility to work in a hybrid manner or remotely and must be willing to undertake some potential travel to our different locations to spend time on the event's site with our operational, technical and sales teams.Responsibilities:Event planning and coordination: You will be in charge of planning and coordinating all the details of the events, from the venue, catering, and entertainment, to the speakers, sponsors, and media. You may support on the creation of a timeline, a budget, and a contingency plan, and oversee the logistics, contracts, and permits. You will also need to communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, such as vendors, staff, partners, and attendees.Event promotion and outreach: You will be involved in promoting and reaching out to potential and existing attendees, using various channels and tactics. Together with the European marketing team, you might need to be involved in the creation and distribution of engaging and relevant content, such as invitations, flyers, emails, social media posts, blogs, and videos. When required, you will need to build and maintain relationships with influencers, media outlets, and community groups, and generate buzz and awareness for the event.Event production and execution: You will be responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly and according to plan during the production and execution stages by supervising and managing the on-site operations, such as setup, registration, security, and catering. You will also need to handle any issues or emergencies that may arise, and provide support and guidance to the staff, speakers, and attendees.Event follow-up and analysis: It's expected to follow up and analyze the event, gathering and reporting on the data and feedback to evaluate the impact and return on investment of the event, as well as thanking and acknowledging the participants, sponsors, and partners, and soliciting their opinions and suggestions.Skills and Qualifications:Creativity, communication, organization, problem-solving, marketing tech knowledgeBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years experience in event planning, coordination, or managementKnowledge of event marketing trends, best practices, and toolsLanguages: English (mandatory) and any other highly appreciated#J-18808-Ljbffr
