Ecolab has an opening for a Procurement Trainee - Project Management for our Procurement function located in Barcelona.

The primary objective of this internship is to assist our Procurement PMO in a varied portfolio of innovation, business continuity and supply assurance projects, typically reporting to the Project Lead.

What will you do?
Assist in creating a logical plan, realistic estimates and schedule for an activity or project segment, coordinate, and direct completion.
Assess the risk associated with the process and the respective mitigation plan for each risk identified.
Proactively propose process improvement ideas which can reduce time, cost, improve accuracy or enhance controls.
Identify opportunities for loss elimination across inbound processes.
Ensure that progress, issues and agreements are properly documented and acted upon.
Effectively communicate results and metrics to leadership/stakeholders as required.
The ideal candidate will have skills and experience to include: Student or recent graduate of a bachelor's degree/master's in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial), Supply Chain or related studies.
Ability to understand complex issues in a comprehensible way and to communicate to a wide circle of customers.
Proactivity and ownership are critical to ensure proper traction of the projects.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Additional qualifications: Intermediate knowledge with MS Office Tools.
Knowledge in GEP.
Experience in Supply Chain / Procurement / Project Management is a plus.
