Joining us means joining a truly global community of more than 75,000 people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact.JOB TITLE Competitiveness ManagerDURATION PermanentLOCATION Barcelona, Santa Perpetua de la MogodaPURPOSE OF THE JOB In charge for his Platform of:Ensuring the completeness of the reference library and its continuous monitoring versus QCD objectives.Managing competitiveness plans on the platform's products, reference libraries and reference solutions: driving during product development, implementation during tender preparation, monitoring during project execution.Support pre-tendering/tendering activities and start of projects with reference libraries.Collecting ROE on relevant Projects.ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES Competitiveness on Ref LibSupport the Product/or Solution manager in building, driving and permanently challenging the Reference Library on QCD aspects: allocate and follow the cost target achievement per contributor, update the Ref Lib with cost improvement confirmed.Coordinate, on behalf of the Product/or Solution manager, competitiveness action plans with all métiers: build and present business cases of new competitiveness actions.Support the Product/or Solution manager on demand for any costing activity (including quick costing at pre-tendering phase).Prepare and present Ref Lib reviews (with Competitiveness Director and Ref Lib manager), according to the standards and the calendar defined.Performance measurements Progress of Competitiveness action plan: volume/number of competitiveness actions proposed, progress of actions.Cost monitoring of Ref Libs, and delivery on time.Quality of Reference Library presentation.EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES & REQUIRED COMPETENCES Educational requirements Mandatory: Engineering degree and/or Business School.Experience Mandatory: Minimum 5 years of experience in industry.Desirable:Experience in Railway industry.Knowledgeable of Costing, or Engineering, or Sourcing in similar industry.Experience in Design To Cost.Competencies & Skills Technical:Project Management and/or Industry background.Ability to recognize product and associated costs, and understand operational flows (engineering, manufacturing, industrial, etc).Understanding of basic enterprise internal processes: Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Quality and their interfaces.Sufficient awareness of financial rules and contractual aspects (bonds & guarantees).Good communication skill (presentations, synthesis, relationship with contributors).Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment
