Provide administration support for Early R&I key business processes, including external collaborations (in partnership with the BioPharma R&D Academic Alliances group) and supporting the Early R&I External Funding & Engagement process.
Typical Accountabilities
Administrative Support for Early R&I External Collaborations
A. Has oversight of the End to End process for External Collaborations to advise scientists of process and ways of working:
Requesting an agreement and establishing what information is needed for contract initiation.
Managing a collaboration.
Completion and closure of the collaboration.
B. Oversight of incoming agreement requests from Early R&I scientists.
C. Ensures Academic Institute is set up in AZ finance system to support payments.
D. PO generation and communication with finance to ensure appropriate amortising of costs.
F. Maintain ECHO records are updated with all relevant information e.g Storage of interim and final reports, Financial obligations and status of the collaboration
Regular follow up with responsible scientists to ensure contract is being followed and reports are generated according to contract for example:
Reports are generated accordingly.
Terms of the collaboration.
Awareness of key contractual terms.
Obligations under the agreement.
Administrative support to the Early R&I External Funding & Engagement process:
Represents Early R&I in the External Funding (EF) network, advising AZ requestors of suitability for EF process.
Gathers likely functional demand for external funding to support forecasting and planning.
Extends invitations to submit funding request into the process to prioritized grant seekers.
Seeks budget holder approval for any external funding requests.
Provides key information to allow processing of EF requests from both internal stakeholders and external grant seekers and requests NomSig approval for a given request as required.
