Structured Trade Finance (STF) is part of the Asset & Structured Trade Finance product area, which falls under Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB). STF was created in 2020 to enhance the international business of operations covered by Coverage Agents that secure commercial risks (e.g. default by the borrower) and/or country political risks (e.g. natural disasters, nationalization, etc.) generally arising from companies' activities abroad.
Activities include:
Monitoring the milestones of each coverage operation based on the Risk Monitoring Sheet prepared for each operation.Preparation of waivers/modifications or restructuring of portfolio operations, including the coverage policy.Management of operational risk of the coverage, which includes:Management of the Centralized Archive.Preparation of Monitoring reports and internal communication among departments involved in managing the same operation.Additionally, the Business Monitoring team will expand its current functions to manage operations in the Asset & Structured Trade Finance area where CaixaBank acts as Agent in syndicated operations and in bilateral operations (where CaixaBank is the sole bank).
Minimum requirements:
Higher education in Law, Economics, Business Administration, or similar; postgraduate and master's degrees will be positively valued.Minimum professional experience of 5 years.Strong analytical skills for contracts and corresponding negotiation both internally and externally with banks and public entities.Previous experience in structured financing, risk analysis, management areas, and similar financial solutions will be positively valued.Previous experience in managing operations where a bank acts as Agent will be highly valued.Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.Key competencies:

Responsible for all the stages for the execution of an operation until its closing (identification of opportunities, preparation of risk reports for approval by the committee, preparation of offers and mandates, negotiation of documentation, review of Due Diligence, and signing). The most senior levels are trainers of the most junior levels. Collaboration in origination activities relevant to the budget.
