Apply Position: Permanent, Full-time, Live-out English and Spanish-speaking Nanny in Barcelona
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Work: Full-time, Live-out
Term: Long-term/ Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Details of the assignment:
A lovely family in Poblenou, Barcelona, urgently needs a reliable and caring English-speaking nanny to support them in looking after their two children, B1 and B4. A nanny who also speaks Spanish would be highly desirable. This is a live-out role, so the family is seeking someone who is local to Barcelona or the surrounding area and can commute daily.
Both children attend different schools nearby, with school hours from 8:30 to 17:15 for the eldest and 9:00 to 16:30/17:30 for the youngest. The family is looking for a flexible nanny to manage afternoon pick-ups, prepare healthy meals for the children, and assist with their evening routines, including bathtime and bedtime. During school hours, the ideal candidate will help with light household tasks, such as keeping the children's rooms tidy, folding laundry, and ensuring their play areas are tidy and organised. Additionally, the family has a pool, so the nanny must be a confident swimmer and comfortable supervising the children around the water.
The family is expecting their third child in March, and mum will be supported by a maternity night nurse for the first few weeks. However, additional help during the day may be needed once the baby arrives.
The ideal nanny for this role is patient, kind, and able to create a fun, engaging environment for the children. They are looking for someone who not only provides exceptional care but is also proactive in offering support where needed. If you are an experienced nanny who is warm, enthusiastic, and passionate about creating a positive, stimulating environment for children, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Previous experience as a (full-time) nanny
Willingness to assist with light house chores
