Junior Business Planning Analyst and Data AnalystDescription:The IPCS (Industrial Print Customer Success) WW Current Business Management team is a team of young and talented professionals responsible for planning, forecasting, and analyzing business plans (long and short term) and providing guidance based on analyzed business trends and directions for decision-making within the above-mentioned business.We are now looking for a Junior WW Business and Data Analyst to support this team.Job Role and ResponsibilitiesIn accordance with plan and team guidance, performs/executes data collection and analysis procedures and data insight visualizations for assigned projects.Collects, records, and analyzes data using established protocols and processes; communicates findings to other team members for review and feedback.Utilizes historical data to perform requirements analysis and identify trend lines across several data sources within the organization to support decisions.Applies predictive analysis and tools to forecast and employ business analytics (including an enhanced ability to quantify and qualify data).Utilizes the Business Intelligence analytics database to carry out statistical analysis and ad hoc reporting as required.Assures accuracy, integrity, and compliance of cleansed data.Evaluates business processes, anticipates requirements, uncovers areas for improvement, and develops and implements solutions.Assists in preparation of literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and delivery at industry and scientific events and conferences; creates patent applications and supporting documentation.Conducts meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.Education and Experience RequiredBachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience with interest in data management.Work experience is not required, but appropriate internships related to the job content would be a plus.Excellent English skills, written and spoken.Knowledge and Skills RequiredDemonstrated analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques.Basic knowledge of research methodology.Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.Developing business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Basic understanding of project management methodology.Knowledge of Power BI, or additional databases such as SQL Server and MySQL is preferred.It is also preferable to be familiar with data warehousing, data mining, and data mapping.What we offer:Opportunity to work in an international organization with colleagues coming from all over the world.Diverse, continued internal growth and career opportunities, including HP's own learning platform and LinkedIn Learning.An attractive benefits package, including:Health & Life insuranceLunch at reduced prices at our canteen/ticket restaurant vouchersHP product discountWork-life balance / flexible working hours.Women, Pride, Young employees, Sustainability, and DisAbility!
