Offer Description Job title: Research Project with Port Authority of Ferrol - San Cibrao "Research of variables related to port operability in the Port of Ferrol. Study of actions for improvement and technology transfer for port development"
Research line / Scientific-technical services: Port agitation, Port operability, Maritime Climate.
1. Tasks to be carried out In the Agreement 'INVESTIGATION OF THE FACTORS IMPLICATED IN THE OPERABILITY OF THE PORT OF FERROL. STUDY OF IMPROVEMENT ACTIONS AND TRANSFER OF TECHNOLOGY FOR THE OPERATION OF THE PORT', signed by the University of A Coruña and the Port Authority of Ferrol - San Cibrao, specific objectives are identified, such as:
Analysis of the inner agitation of the port (Line of action 1).
Evaluation of new open configurations with the improvement of port operations (Line of action 2).
Analysis of the maritime climate in the area (Line of action 3).
These objectives require specialised personnel, including the need for a PhD qualification, as required by the scientific-technical complexity of the lines of action mentioned above in an Outer Port such as the existing one in Ferrol.
2. Justification of the duration of the contract The contract is of an indefinite full-time nature until the date of termination of the Agreement.

Publications in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Report on port agitation, port operability and maritime climate. EXCLUDING: Yes. SCORE: 5 points per publication. MAXIMUM: 50 points.
Publications in other journals of port agitation, port operativity and maritime climate. EXCLUDING: No. SCORE: 5 points per publication. MAXIMUM: 10 points.
Completion of a personal interview. MAXIMUM SCORE: 20 points.
TOTAL maximum score: 100 points.
