We are looking for an Associate Contracts Manager to be based in Madrid to support Amazon Studios' rapidly growing businesses. We are currently looking for someone who has the uncanny ability to always know where they are needed, can identify and implement process improvements, and can effectively work cross-functionally with other teams.Your responsibilities will include:Documenting and managing a variety of television development and production agreements, including short form individual services agreements.Managing paperwork and legal processes, including advising creative, finance, and other internal stakeholders on contractual terms.Managing projects through the right management system and conducting periodic audits to ensure contractual and guild compliance.Assisting with legal operations and process improvements and conducting client trainings.Liaising with production companies engaged by Amazon Studios to walk them through our production guidelines and legal processes, as well as monitoring their compliance with them.Monitoring the status of options over IP rights.Coordinating with external counsel to ensure the delivery to production companies of Amazon Studios' production templates.Ensuring the execution of key production agreements.Coordinating with external counsel the review of rough cuts and escalating internally legal and content-related issues.Minimum Requirements:2+ years of experience in a legal department.Experience working with third party contractual relationships.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Bachelor's degree.Previous in-house legal experience a plus.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many simultaneous workstreams, clients, and projects under tight deadlines.Demonstrates good judgment even in ambiguous situations.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
