Assistant Junior Algorithmic Trader

We offer internships leading to a permanent position.
Responsibilities

Work with Senior Algorithmic Trader to assist and learn all aspects of trading and execution.
Produce solid implementations of cutting-edge pricing models and hedging tools.
Maintain and improve existing report and backtesting procedures within the desk.
Interact as part of the trading team in analyzing and implementing existing and new strategies.

Qualifications

MS in computer science, engineering, physics, math, statistics or related.
Knowledge in finance is a plus.
PhD or similar research experience in a quantitative field will be strongly considered.

Key Skills

Sound knowledge of statistics and probability.
Familiarity with signal processing and machine learning is a plus.
Strong programming skills in Python, Matlab. C++/C# will also be positively valued.
Good understanding of algorithms and advanced data structures.

Willingness to learn and intellectually curious.
Capable of developing expertise in areas outside of core comfort zone and learn from experienced members of the team.
